Today's the day!
First, welcome to any new readers I may have picked up this week. I am excited to share our family's adventures with you!
Second, my plan to update this blog as we go is a bit loosey-goosey. I don't know what kind of time, internet access, or patience to type on my phone screen, I will have throughout this trip. I do want to make sure to take notes every day and will have my paper journal along for that. I hope to share some pictures to my Instagram account as I think of it. I will also possibly use this forum for short-hand notes to come back and edit later. In the end, this blog will be our virtual scrapbook, so I can say for sure that detailed updates will definitely happen, even if it's several weeks after we get home.
On the schedule for today - finish packing, get the place ready for the house-sitter, get to the airport, board the plane, and hopefully sleep our way across the ocean!
I am so freakin excited!!
