I feel like the overall itinerary might need its own post to refer back to from time to time, so I'm starting with this. More details may be added later.
When I started my Trello board for this trip, Day 1 was the arrival day at the first hotel on the Trafalgar "Wonders of Britain and Ireland" tour. When I did the research on flights, though, I found out that arriving the day before that was going to save us something like $1200 in plane fare. So, we now have a Day 0!
High level Overview:
- Day 0: Travel to London
- Day 1 through 14: Trafalgar tour through England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland
- Day 15: Travel to France
- Day 16-18: DisneyLand Paris, and Paris (city)
- Day 19: Travel home
Now, the biggest problem I have with doing any planning right now, is that I have no idea when anything will be happening on Days 1 through 14!! I know there are times almost every day that we will have "time to explore", but how MUCH time? And when? Mornings? Afternoons? Evenings? What about getting lunch (not included) or doing laundry?
